BWP has a rich history, starting in 1951 with six people, and has staged over 198 plays. After moving through various performance spaces, the group now rehearses and performs in its current home of Thelwall. It's a friendly group, always on the lookout for people who would like to perform, or help backstage or front of house.
BWP has an active social calendar, with members and friends meeting up after rehearsals, watching other theatrical productions, and getting together for meals around Warrington.
